Watch Out For Fake Reductil Type Meds

just because something is sold in a green box does not make it a natural

Since the EMEA has prevented the sale of the weight loss medication Reductil in the United Kingdom there has been a huge influx in fake Reductil type medications appearing on the market. For example recently the Irish Medicines Board said that they had recorded a sixfold increase in the amount of seized slimming products containing the active ingredient of Reductil, namely sibutramine.

Watch Out For Fake Reductil Type Meds

The Irish Medicines Board said that they had compiled a list of almost 40 slimming products being sold online which contained sibutramine and noted that many of them made no reference to this powerful prescription compound in the packaging or labeling. This is extremely dangerous as well as illegal because sibutramine should only be used by certain individuals and has side effects which should be monitored.

Ukmedix News has seen hundreds of cases where sibutramine has been found in supposedly natural weight loss products which market themselves in green packaging to make it look like you are taking nothing more than a few herbs and spices. The UK general public needs to understand that just because something is sold in a green box does not make it natural, traditional, organic or herbal.

We have also noticed that the criminal manufacturers of sibutramine laced weight loss products are becoming increasingly sophisticated in marketing and packaging to make customers feel that they are buying safe weight loss products. At Ukmedix News we want to warn our readers that the only safe weight loss products are those given to you by a doctor.

Reductil was an extremely popular appetite suppressant which was used by millions of obese people around the world until the controversial SCOUT study showed that people who had existing heart problems could make them worse with Reductil. Many people however argue that since Reductil was off limits for people with heart disease anyway and that obesity is one of the major causes of cardio problems the removal of the medication from sale was unnecessary.

At present the only prescription weight loss medication for sale in the UK is Xenical.

I've used Reductil in the past with excellent results. I think it's the 'diet industry' that has stopped this weight loss drug. After all, who would pay Weight Watchers and the like, if we could achieve our target weights in a couple of weeks with Reductil?
