Do Not Use NP Trimz

The product has not been properly tested by any health authority

The Ministry of Health in Brunei has recently issued a public warning about a slimming product called NP Trimz which they said could be dangerous to health. They noted that people who had been using it were suffering from high blood pressure and were having difficulty in sleeping. The Brunei Ministry of Health also ordered that all of the current packages of NP Trimz already on the market should be recalled and destroyed.

Do Not Use NP Trimz

This is yet another example of a criminal manufacturer of slimming products deliberately inserting the weight loss chemical sibutramine into harmless looking tablets. The product description makes absolutely no mention of the fact that a controlled prescription drug is present and thus people think they are using a harmless and perfectly safe slimming product.

There is nothing actually wrong with sibutramine, (which is sold legally in the weight loss medication Reductil), but it is not right for all people and that is why a prescription is required before you use it. For example if you have cardio problems or a history of elevated blood pressure you should stay away from Reductil and use other slimming drugs like Xenical. This particular NP Trimz product was found to have soya proteins and some enzymes as well as the sibutramine drug. The product has not been properly tested by any health authority and therefore could be very dangerous apart from the fact that it contains unlisted sibutramine.

Interestingly this sudden clampdown by the health authorities in Brunei comes just a short time after a man died from taking a similar illegal sibutramine laced weight loss product in Turkey. It seems that the fact that the man who died was famous (he was a TV presenter) has spurred on health authorities around the world to make sure that illegal diet products that contain sibutramine are removed from the shelves of supermarkets and pharmacies.

Reductil is one of the world’s most effective weight loss medications and has been on sale for many years and is perfectly safe if it is used correctly and if it is used by the right people. Any medication which is given to the wrong person is likely to be harmful and you should remember this before you take any medicines.
