News reports coming into the Ukmedix newsroom from the The Investigation Bureau in Taiwan that is a section of the Ministry of Justice reveals that a big illegal and fake medicine operation in Taichung has been seized and over 300 kilograms of fake drugs have been confiscated. One of the mobile units of the Investigations Bureau based in Taichung pounced on a warehouse as well as a distribution centre after getting a lead from informants and undercover policemen.
In all over one million fake tablets were seized including the weight loss appetite supressant drug Reductil and Viagra the world famous erectile dysfunction. The police arrested a man and investigations are continiuing.
Using fake drugs is extremely dangerous and Ukmedix is keen to publicise the dangers of using Reductil that contains sibutramine without a prescription. Certain people must not use the drug as it can cause serious heart complications and that is why a prescription is always needed. Sibutramine or Reductil is not good for people with elevated blood pressure or who have a history of heart problems. Reductil is sold under the trading name Meridia in the United States.
Reductil in its legal and regulated form can help obese people to lose weight as it works as an effective appetite surpressant that switches off the desire to eat. As with most medicines it has side effects that can be carefully monitored if the drug is bought legally and from a proper pharmacy online or otherwise. Reductil is thought to be the most copied weight loss drug worldwide and has found its way into many supposedly herbal remedies that are sold in the Far East and often promoted online by unscrupulous illegal websites.
Ukmedix encourages great care when buying herbal products from India and the Far East online as many instances have shown that the recipes are far from herbal or traditional and contain dangerous levels of prescription weight loss medications.
