The newsroom at Ukmedix News has picked up the latest warnings regarding the dangerous weight loss product called Ener Day. The product which has caused health complications in a number of women appears to have been made in China and contains unspecified amounts of a powerful appetite suppressant called sibutramine.

Latest Slimming Drug Warnings

One of the women who became ill was 21 years old and was taken into hospital by her friends after she became unconscious. It appears that despite following the recommendations on the packaging she had overdosed because of the poor quality of the product. The majority of illegal weight loss medication makes no mention of the medication that it contains and in fact very often gives misleading information.

The drug sibutramine is legal only when it is prescribed in the appetite suppressant Reductil. Reductil is perfectly safe provided that you get a prescription and have a doctor’s consultation, but for some people it is not recommended and therefore using these illegal weight loss medications is extremely dangerous for them, especially as the quantity of the drugs are not stated.

Chinese weight loss medication is being sold all around the world through the use of spam e-mail and illegal websites. The majority of it contains controlled medications which are normally prescribed by doctors. The companies that make these illegal weight loss medications operate in substandard conditions and very often produce poor quality compounds which have not been tested properly by any relevant health authority around the world.

All around the world police are arresting smugglers who trade in these dangerous weight loss medications and who have no regard for the health of the people they sell it to. They have caused the number of deaths around the world and they will continue to do so if people continue to buy them.
