The Health Department of Hong Kong has issued a warning regarding a diet product called Healthily Slim which like literally hundreds of others contains a doctored form of active ingredient of the weight loss medication Reductil.

Sibutramine which is perfectly safe and legal if it is used following a prescription from a doctor has over the last few years become a drug which criminals manufacture in substandard and dangerous factories and add to harmless looking, (but in fact lethal) weight loss products.
The weight loss drug Reductil is the world’s best selling prescription appetite suppressant and has been used by millions of men and women. It is a prescription drug because it is important that you discuss the use of Reductil with a doctor before you use it as for some people there are side effects. It is also worth noting that Reductil is not good for people to use if they have heart problems and therefore doctor’s advice should always be sought.
This weight loss product Healthily Slim does not make any mention of the fact that it contains sibutramine which could mean that if the wrong people use it the consequences could be extremely serious. Because of the huge proliferation of these suspect weight loss medications at Ukmedix News we recommend that you should never use any slimming product no matter how harmless it looks or sounds unless you have first checked it out with a doctor.
Healthily Slim which was being sold in health shops all over Hong Kong has been removed from the shelves following a number of Health Department raids. In all they seized over 1,000 bottles of the Healthily Slim product but there are likely to be far more out there and it is also probable that the product is being sold on the internet.
