The latest dangerous weight loss product to be picked up by various health authorities around the world is the imaginatively named Fat Burner No. 1. This product which as usual claims to be a natural weight loss product is in fact laced with the active ingredient of the diet medication Reductil. The product which comes from China was distributed by Ying Tai TCM Supplying Ltd who are cooperating in a voluntary recall.

What makes this product even more dangerous is that the manufacturers even decided that it would be a good idea to add some of the active ingredient of the impotence drug Viagra into the Fat Burner No. 1 product. So, let's get this right! The company decides to produce a weight loss product, they call it natural and herbal when in fact it contains a powerful prescription appetite suppressant which is contraindicated for people with heart problems or high blood pressure, and then to add insult to injury they decide to load it up with Sildenafil [Viagra], which is also contraindicated for those with heart or hypertension issues. What sort of sick and evil people could produce something like this?
The clinical testing which was done by Health Canada was prompted by reports of extremely dangerous adverse reactions which could have led to death if they had not been treated quickly. Fat Burner No.1 which is called Qian Mei Yin Zi in Chinese should be avoided along with all other herbal, traditional or natural weight loss products unless they have been given to you by a doctor. [And any doctor with a brain would never give you something had not been put through independent clinical testing by a reputable health organization.]
It really isn't worth risking your health and potentially doing permanent damage to your heart by using untried and untested weight loss supplements. The law in both the UK and America needs to be tightened up to prevent these dangerous weight loss products ending up in the hands of unsuspecting consumers.
