In some countries (especially America) TV adverts play all day advertising also called breakthrough formulas and treatments for male pattern baldness. They use ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos and have men being chased and looked at adoringly by beautiful women. Another trick is the money back guarantee that most people just can’t be bothered with anyway.
At Ukmedix we want to warn you that the majority of these treatments are just a load of rubbish. This might sound a bit harsh but the vast majority of these treatments have not been tested clinically with proper controls. In fact if you read through the medical literature that comes with these medicines it is clear that they have no FDA or EMEA approval and the only thing that will grow is your hope that you will re grow some hair.
There are only 2 FDA and EMEA approved drugs for Male Pattern Balding to date and they are Propecia and minoxidil. Using anything else means that you are will be using a medicine that is statistically much less likely to work than Propecia and minoxidil.
If it is hard facts and statistics that you are after then the only medicine that you should consider is Propecia as it has the best hair restoration numbers in the hair loss industry. As many as 90% of men who used it said that their hair loss stopped or slowed and around half said that they started to get thicker hair. These are not some random numbers but hard facts from FDA approved controlled testing. The fact that around 4 million men around the globe use Propecia is proof of the fact that it works too.
So we say don’t waste your time and get a doctor to prescribe what really works and don’t waste money on paying for glitzy advertising campaigns and dubious hair loss remedies.
