A huge police operation in the United Kingdom called Operation Stormgrand has resulted in the criminal conviction of seven individuals who formed a counterfeit medication operation which sold fake Propecia all over the UK and even abroad.

The gang which also sold fake Viagra is thought to have made huge amounts of money from unsuspecting customers before they were all arrested. Over £3m has been ordered by the courts to be paid in fines and it is estimated that hair loss and erectile dysfunction drugs with a black market value of around £1.5m were also impounded. One of the gang Mr. Zahid Mirza was given two and a half years in prison in absentia as he has still not been arrested and he was also ordered to pay almost £2m.
The selling of fake Propecia is a very lucrative and easy to operate for criminal gangs because the majority of men who use the dud products rarely ever get to know that the reason why the pills were not effective for them was because they contained no active ingredients. Instead they just assume that they are just in the unlucky ten percent for whom Propecia is not effective.
If the Propecia that you buy it does not come with a proper prescription issued by a UK doctor and dispatched from a UK pharmacy than it is almost certainly fake. This means that it is either manufactured in an unregulated factory illegally and possibly contains dangerous compounds or it is completely dud and made of either something like cement.
We don’t need to tell you at Ukmedix News that if you want to use Propecia you should make sure that you buy the proper version made by the pharmaceutical company Merck which has tested the drug in thousands of independent clinical trials making it the most tested hair restoration remedy in the world.
The Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency can only do so much to prevent the proliferation of these criminal gangs producing fake Propecia, and the most effective tool in defeating these gangs is you using your common sense.
