The MHRA are feeling pretty pleased with themselves after a recent undercover operation led to the seizure of over 300,000 fake Viagra type tablet medications.. The haul which is estimated to be worth over a £1 million came from three different residential addresses and a warehouse all of which were raided at the same time.

Mr.Danny Lee-Frost who is head of operations at the MHRA said that arriving at the locations was like being in an "Aladdin's Cave of fake medicine". It is thought that the fake Viagra, Cialis and Levitra was not just for the domestic UK market but was also being sent around Europe and possibly even further afield. Three men have been arrested and are likely to be charged after testing of the various tablets is complete.
The MHRA was assisted in the operation by the manufacturer of the drug Cialis, Eli Lilly who have their own team of investigators looking out for fake versions of their products. Pfizer, who manufacture Viagra and Bayer who manufacture Levitra also have teams of undercover investigators looking into the supply of fake erectile dysfunction medications.
Mr. Rick Ascroft, speaking on behalf of Eli Lilly in the UK said that fake medications were distributed from hubs by criminals in different parts of the world. He warned that those people who were involved in the supply and production of fake medicines had no concern for the safety of the patients and therefore were a serious threat to public health.
At the Ukmedix web site only genuine branded erectile dysfunction medications are found and they can only be issued to men after an online consultation with a UK doctor. Using the unique Pharmacheck System it is possible to verify that the impotence medications you buy online come from a licenced 'bricks and mortar' pharmacy.
Be warned that thousands of men become seriously ill from using fake erectile dysfunction medication every year and that in some cases death can ensue. Medical regulation is there for a reason namely to save lives, so bypassing it and buying fake drugs puts you in great danger.
