How does Levitra work?
Levitra increases blood flow to the penis. When sexually stimulated the arteries in the penis relax and enlarge. As these arteries expand the veins taking blood away from the penis are compressed restricting the blood flow out of the penis, thus causing an erection. It is if the nerves and blood vessels that facilitate this process are not working sufficiently that erectile dysfunction occurs.
