Give Me Broccoli Baby

licking an egg plant while wearing nothing but underwear

Sex sells, there is no doubt about that and the organisation People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) knows it better than anyone else. Their recent advertising campaign is hot, steamy and full of scantily clad beautiful women who are promoting the idea that by being vegetarian both men and women will have better sexual function and better orgasms.

Give Me Broccoli Baby

The advertisement which can be seen at the PETA website was presented to the NBC television channel in America so that it could be played during the Super Bowl. Extremely predictably the NBC refused to air the advertisement saying that it would be offensive to certain people and did not comply with rules and regulations concerning advertisements. In the advertisement you will see women playing suggestively with asparagus, broccoli, pumpkins, licking an egg plant while wearing nothing but underwear.

Is there any truth to the claims of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals that being a vegetarian improves sexual function?

It is commonly known that the vast majority of erectile dysfunction in men is caused by unhealthy living, being overweight, having high cholesterol and suffering from heart disease and it is true that vegetarians tend to have lower incidences of all of these. Nevertheless some nutritionists point to the fact that it is not the meat itself which is unhealthy but the over consumption of unhealthy fat which can also be found in vegetarian diets. Women who are slim and healthy also have been shown to have better sexual function and even fertility than women who are not.

Whatever the case you cannot but admire the determination of the PETA to get their message across. It is rumoured that the advertisements are deliberately designed to get the banned because they generate more publicity that way and they also do not have to pay the huge advertising costs that go with getting coverage at the Super Bowl.

At Ukmedix News we know that you are going to look at the advert…we just know ( ;

A saw the video too! I find it quite unreal and it looks more like a porno video… I always thought the main reason to be vegetarian was to be healthy but this video is another contribution to the pressure from the society in women to be skinny, when is the day that people are going to accept women with curves?
