The German pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH has been taking its time releasing results about its possible blockbuster female sexual dysfunction drug flibanserin but has promised to release clinical testing which shows that the drug is safe and effective next week at a conference of the European Society for Sexual Medicine. Their clinical testing which has been done on over 5,000 American and European women could prove that a large part of female sexual dysfunction is actually in the brain!

According to Professor Jim Pfaus, a neurologist working at Concordia University in Canada the flibanserin drug functions by preventing the release of an important mood compound called serotonin, which in turn triggers production of another important mood regulating compound called dopamine which is known to produce increased sexual desire in women. Professor Pfaus also said that flibanserin could be more effective than the presently available in the UK female sexual dysfunction drug Intrinsa. He said that while Intrinsa could help women to “climb over” the wall of female sexual dysfunction, flibanserin would actually remove the problem.
In the same way that erectile dysfunction causes great distress to men, female sexual dysfunction is estimated to cause relationship tension in as many as ten percent of relationships. The condition which has been named hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) is fast becoming a much talked about medical condition in the same way that erectile dysfunction started to be talked about with the arrival of Viagra.
Unlike Viagra which produces almost instant results, the flibanserin medication requires for women to take it every day and they should only expect results in between three and six weeks later. The clinical testing process made use of personal digital monitors which reminded volunteers daily to rate their sexual desire levels and to report whether they had had sex and to rate its enjoyment.
Ukmedix News will be keeping you up to date on any new clinical results regarding flibanserin.

it's funny because the same shot would never work for a story about viagra. it'd just look like a man in pain. haha

Can this drug take "great sex" and make it even better, as in mind blowing, dynamite, earth-shaking, etc?
