70 percent of women reported better sexual satisfaction

When most people think about why women have breast enhancement operations they tend to focus on the fact that these women just want to look better and they see the whole process as a physical enhancement.  In one sense they are right because having a breast augmentation surgery is very much about improving your physical attractiveness to the opposite sex but you should never underestimate the powerful psychological impact that having bigger or more beautiful breasts can have on women.

There is plenty of hearsay evidence that women who feel confident about their breasts are much more likely to enjoy having sex. For example just recently a survey conducted by RealSelf.com claims that 61 percent of women who had breast augmentation surgery had sex more often after the operation than before, compared to only seven percent who said that they had less sex. Another finding of this study was that 70 percent of women reported better sexual satisfaction after breast augmentation surgery and the 28 percent of women said that their sex lives drastically improved for the better.

This information is interesting because it shows that in order for women to enjoy sex they need to feel they are beautiful and that they are desired. Unlike men who are easily turned on, women need a lot of psychological stimuli to make them enjoy sex and knowing that they are looking good helps them to relax in the bedroom and become more easily aroused.

Some people would go as far as to argue that women who undergo breast augmentation surgery can improve not only their sex lives but also their careers and everything else that they do because of the added confidence that they get.

Women need to think carefully about having breast augmentation surgery and need to be honest with themselves about why they are doing it. They need to evaluate both the physiological and psychological boost that the surgery could give them and discuss it in detail with friends, lovers and also the potential cosmetic surgeon.
