Zoraxel Impotence Medicine Enhances Desire Too

The drug company Rexahn Pharmaceuticals has completed its enrolment in Phase IIa clinical testing for Zoraxel which has been developed to treat erectile dysfunction. Rexahn said that they hope to have the first study results by sometime in March 2009.

Zoraxel which has already been tested to some extent by Rexahn Pharmaceuticals is claimed to have a significant effect on erection quality and also boost sexual desire. The erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra while boosting erectile function do not have an effect on sexual desire which would make the Zoraxel a first in its field.
Zoraxel works by acting on neurotransmitters in the male brain and has been extensively tested using animal models. The results showed that the three main functions of sexual activity for men namely arousal, erection quality and sexual release were all improved significantly when using Zoraxel. Zoraxel which will be administered orally and on demand is also stated to have practically no side effects and thus would be perfect for men who suffer from the side effects of Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. A spokesman for Rexahn said that Zoraxel had an excellent safety profile too.
The Zoraxel Phase IIa clinical testing will be using a double blind, placebo controlled and varied dose format in three different American locations. It is estimated that around 40 men who have suffered from erectile dysfunction for a minimum of six months will take part in the study. The volunteers will be assessed using the Sexual Encounter Profile as well as the International Index of Erectile Function.
At Ukmedix News we have seen many new erectile dysfunction remedies over the last few years but unfortunately most of them fall to the wayside after clinical testing establishes that they either have serious side effects for that they are not as effective as erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.
We will be reporting closely on the results of the clinical testing and while we hope that the results for Zoraxel are good we are not overly optimistic that this drug will make it to the market.
