The film Love and Other Drugs should be used as educational material to anybody considering using the impotence drugs Viagra, Cialis or Levitra. The film not only deals with the positive aspects of what these drugs can do for you but also talks about many different aspects of erectile dysfunction and the side effects of using PDE-5 inhibitors.

The film also has a whole scene dedicated to dealing with a case of non vascular induced erectile dysfunction which is when a man is unable to get an erection not to due to a problem with his penile artery but due to psychological pressure and tension. Many people think that provided a man's physical apparatus is in good condition he will always be able to get an instant erection whenever he wants to get one but in rare cases nothing happens!
Probably the most common reason for non vascular induced erectile dysfunction is performance anxiety. Sometimes when a man is faced with a much sought after sexual opportunity he can panic and this prevents him from relaxing which is needed for good erectile function. If you look at the Ukmedix Forums you'll see plenty of men talking about cases where they were just unable to get an erection despite being with a very sexy woman.
In other cases men who are feeling excessively guilty, [possibly men cheating on their wives] have also been known to suddenly suffer from impotence.
In the film Love and Other Drugs, Anne Hathaway deals with the problem of Jake Gyllenhaal's performance anxiety perfectly. She firstly takes all the pressure off and relaxes him by giving him a massage and then continues to talk to him so that the last thing on his mind is sex. Eventually when he is relaxed enough sparks begin to fly!
The important thing to remember if you suffer from an event of erectile dysfunction is not to panic, to try and relax and to talk to your partner about it.
