The International Narcotics Control Board Warns Of Illegal Online Pharmacies

The International Narcotics Control Board which is the United Nations narcotics watchdog has recently issued advice on how to stop the proliferation of illegal online pharmacies selling powerful medications without authorisation and prescriptions. They noted that the vast majority of internet pharmacies were not legitimate and that the problem was growing. In America one study done showed that out of 365 internet pharmacies only two of them were properly licensed.

The INCB also commented that in many countries the illegal trafficking of prescription medication was becoming more of problem than the use of drugs such as amphetamines, cocaine and heroin. Hamid Ghodse, who heads the INCB said that a better cooperation between individual countries was needed to deal with the problem when he was speaking at a United Nations conference in Vienna.
The biggest problem area for prescription drugs are those pharmacies that sell illegal versions of the erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. The anonymity which the internet gives makes it perfect for criminals to operate these online pharmacies. If you buy drugs online in the United Kingdom you should always check that the drugs are coming from a registered and legal UK based pharmacy. This can be done on the Ukmedix website using the Pharmacheck system. With Ukmedix you can also verify the batch numbers of your drugs with the pharmacy for further peace of mind.
The United Nations conference in Geneva also made note to the fact that many of the illegal online pharmacies sell prescription medications to treat weight loss and hair loss too. At Ukmedix News we believe there’s very little that governments and law enforcement authorities can do to stop the growth of these illegal pharmacies. We believe that the most effective weapon in preventing the growth of these illegal operations is that the public are educated in the dangers of buying anything online which does not come with a prescription and from a registered pharmacy.

My hubbie bought 'pills' off a site called rxonline.com or something like that... nothing turned up and when we asked for a refund the operator we were told they no longer existed! Been very satisfied with ukmedix I have to say :) a wee bit expensive however but service is really fantastic- thumbs up.

this is how people get addicted to pain meds, its way to easy to get it online, you have to pay double the price but its out there, and need to be stopped. There shouldnt be online pharmacies. Or online doctors. I hope the government stops this!!!!!
