Health authorities in Canada have again warned about the dangers of so called ‘herbal remedies’ to treat erectile dysfunction. They said that following extensive clinical testing on a whole range of different products they found many powerful prescription compound many of which have never been subjected to independent clinical analysis. One such chemical found in herbal remedies is Sulfoaildenafil, a doctored version of the active ingredient of the erectile dysfunction medication Viagra. It is thought that this chemical works in a similar way to Sildenafil but its side effects are unknown.

Health Canada has published a list of the herbal remedies to avoid and they include Clyamax, Love Fuel, Whatzup, Sexual Surge, Amour for him, Erexxx, Red Hot Sex, Stamin It and Depth Charge. They also warned that these medications could cause severe chest pain, strokes, heart attacks, an abnormal heart beat, high blood pressure and a whole list of other dangerous health complications.
Health Canada also warned about another product which we have previously written about at Ukmedix News namely STRO Emperor Capsules which have been found to contain undisclosed amounts of the active ingredient of the erectile dysfunction medication Cialis. STRO Emperor Capsules are advertised and promoted as being perfectly harmless traditional Chinese medicine.
The real danger of taking these herbal medications is that you have no idea what you are swallowing and testing has shown that in many cases the doses of the active ingredients are excessive. Very often the people selling you the traditional medication have no idea themselves that they contain dangerous chemicals and do so thinking that they are just selling something harmless.
Because of the huge amount of dangerous ‘traditional, natural and herbal’ medication available in health shops and on the internet we can only advise that men should not use any of them unless they have been approved by a doctor. In fact we know that any proper doctor would immediately warn you not to use them. The fact that so many traditional medications are being hijacked by unscrupulous businessmen has undermined the integrity of those people who specialise in this area despite their good intentions.
