The compound is also likely to be especially dangerous to men who use nitrates

An erectile dysfunction supplement manufacturer Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Inc has ordered an urgent recall of one of its products after testing revealed that it contained an undeclared ingredient called benzamidenafil. This compound which is an analogue compound of the active ingredient of Viagra has not been clinically tested and therefore could actually be dangerous.

The compound is also likely to be especially dangerous to men who use nitrates which they have been prescribed for the treatment of hypertension, heart disease and other illnesses. Nitrates actually interact with the group of compounds called PDE-5 Inhibitors and can cause potentially fatal side effects, which is why the drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra should always be used with a prescription.

What makes this recalled erectile dysfunction supplement so dangerous is that it is obviously targeted at men who cannot use Viagra, Cialis and Levitra because of their known side effects. The supplement which is called Stamina Rx was also reported to have been improperly labeled and promoted with misleading information.

The Food & Drug Administration in America has come under lot of criticism recently because of the huge amount of erectile dysfunction supplements that are available on the market but which have not been tested clinically due to loop holes in the law. Health experts have been campaigning to make it a requirement that all supplements are clinically checked before they are released on the market and that all claims made by their manufacturers are confirmed.

In America, the Government Accountability Office has actually compiled a report which specifically urges the FDA to do something about the testing and monitoring of all types of dietary supplements.

Until that happens our advice at Ukmedix News is never to use anything for erectile dysfunction unless it has been given to you and prescribed by a doctor. In any case if these supplements really were so effective it is likely that your doctor would know about them and there is no evidence that natural, traditional or herbal products actually work for the treatment of erectile problems.
