Smoking And Good Sex Not Compatible

Probably the biggest single factor likely to cause you erectile dysfunction by the time you are in your late thirties is smoking. Even if you are physically fit and healthy if you smoke you double the chances of being unable to sustain adequate erections for sex. You should also consider that smoking can cause a whole lot of other diseases and illnesses which will also have a significant effect on the quality of your erectile function.

Now, if you are man and you smoke and you are reading this just stop for a moment and weigh up what is important in your life. On one hand you like smoking and this is perfectly understandable, but on the other hand you like having sex. Which one is more important to you? You might think that you can have both but if you continue to smoke erectile dysfunction will eventually catch up with you.
Another thing which men should be aware of is that if they quit smoking when erectile dysfunction is already present it may well be too late for them and the damage could be irreversible. The penile arteries are considerably narrower than coronary arteries and therefore are the first ones to start to suffer from smoking related blockages. Quitting smoking when your penile arteries have been damaged may or may not have an effect on repairing them so it really does pay you to quit smoking before the damage is done.
If you want to quit smoking but can’t because of the addictive power of your habit you need to get help. Don’t wait until it’s too late and the doctor tells you that there’s nothing he can do about your erection problem. Don’t believe that the drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra are the solution to all your problems. They will help but prevention is always better than cure.
