Ukmedix News has already warned about the use of an unlicensed erectile dysfunction medication called Xiadafil VIP tablets. We reported that the United States Food & Drug Administration had ordered a recall of these impotence supplements after testing showed that they contained an undeclared compound.

The compound in question was hydroxyhomosildenafil which is known to be an analogue compound of the active ingredient of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra. While Viagra’s key ingredient namely sildenafil has been the subject of hundreds of clinical tests around the world the compound hydroxyhomosildenafil has never been subjected to formal clinical testing.
The latest update on the Xiadafil VIP tablets is that United States marshals have seized a huge consignment of the product following a formal request from the FDA. The company who produced these tablets namely SEI Pharmaceuticals had refused to recall the tablets and thus the Food & Drug Administration were forced to take affirmative action to stop the illegal Xiadafil VIP being sold. SEI Pharmaceuticals had continued to sell and market its product at trade shows.
A spokesman from the Food & Drug Administration’s Office of Regulatory Affairs said that they would not allow any company to ignore them and thus they were forced to take action which would protect the health of the public. Xiadafil VIP Tablets are just one of literally hundreds of different so called dietary supplements which in fact contain doctored and altered versions of the key ingredients of the erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.
Great care must be taken when buying supplements even if they say they are natural, herbal or traditional because research undertaken by Ukmedix News shows that many of them are far from what they say they are. To be on the safe side you should not take anything for erectile dysfunction unless it has been prescribed you by a doctor.
