Second Hand Smoke Can Cause Impotence

Scientists at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions based in Baltimore, USA have recently concluded research on the dangers of second-hand cigarette smoke. The research which was done using lab mice saw that erectile function was significantly weakened when the mice were regularly subjected to the cigarette smoke.

Professor Trinity Bivalacqua with his team examined the short term effect of second-hand smoke over three weeks. The mice were exposed to the second-hand smoke for five hours daily for five days out of the week. The mice were also tested to see if the impotence medication Viagra had any influence in reversing the detrimental effect of the second-hand smoke on their erectile function.
The scientists recorded that the mice exposed to the second-hand smoke had a lower activity of “constitutive nitric oxide synthase” as well as a greater activity of “inducible nitric oxide synthase” which was the reason that they began to suffer from higher rates of erectile dysfunction. The Viagra drug however compensated for the erectile dysfunction caused by the second-hand cigarette smoke and in most cases restored the erectile function of the mice back to normal. The research was published in the Journal of Urology.
The interesting about this study is it shows how in only a few weeks unhealthy cigarette smoke can have a detrimental effect on erectile function. At Ukmedix News we have spoken to ex-smokers who report that their erectile function improves even after as little as one week of not smoking and that after a month or two they start to notice an increase in morning erections too.
You should never underestimate the effect that cigarettes are having on your erectile function and you should seriously question whether you value your smoking habit over and above your erectile function. If you genuinely think that your smoking habit is more important than being able to maintain a good erection you are either not prepared to admit the addictive hold that cigarettes have on you or maybe you should just get your head checked out.

More than 50 studies show that human papillomaviruses cause over ten times more lung cancers than they pretend are caused by secondhand smoke. Passive smokers are more likely to have been exposed to this virus, so the anti-smokers' studies, which are all based on nothing but lifestyle questionnaires, have been cynically DESIGNED to falsely blame passive smoking for all those extra lung cancers that are really caused by HPV.

The anti-smokers have committed the same type of fraud with every disease they blame on smoking and passive smoking, as well as ignoring other types of evidence that proves they are lying, such as the fact that the death rates from asthma have more than doubled since their movement began.

And it's a lie that passive smoking causes heart disease. AMI deaths in Pueblo actually ROSE the year after the smoking ban.

I don’t believe this, makes no sense.
How can a second- hand smoke can cause something so serious? We need to get more information about this subject because I find it to difficult to believe.

Secondhand smoke causes much more than just impotence. It kills a fair number of people and makes others permanently ill. Take a look at the both the Surgeon General's and Centre's For Disease Control sites on the effects of seconhand smoke. They're a real eye opener for those who aren't aware of all of the dangers.

This report is just plain stupid. By all means read the Surgeon General's 2006 report, and you will find it combined studies on rats, smokers and nonsmokers, which is a no no in epidemology studies. You never combine different studies under an umbrella meta analysis (Hill's criteria of modern day epidemology). Carmona's report does not support the claims that he made in his press release.
