Hot on the heels of the news reports that a Chinese man is suing his local police for causing him to become impotent after pulling him from his car completely naked, an Arab man has jumped on the "suing for impotence" bandwagon after he fell into a hole.

The man from Saudi Arabia said that he sought damages from a construction company after he fell into a three metre deep pit dug by then which impacted negatively on his erectile function and left him unable to sustain an erection. The man named Mansour suffered fractures to his leg and back and penis damage according to the local Saudi newspaper Almadina.
He said that he was very lucky that some people passing by found him and took him to hospital where he needed treatment for almost two months. Mansour said that he now has to travel abroad for specialist treatment on his penis and that it could cost him thousands of pounds not only for the treatment but also for the air fares. He said that if the company had put up proper signs warning about the hole he would not have fallen in it.
At Ukmedix News we feel extremely sorry for Mansour but very much doubt that the Saudi Arabian legal system will pay any attention to him whatsoever. In the same way that the Chinese man who is suing the police hopes to get some form of legal redress we feel that Mansour is likely to be disappointed.
Some good news for Mansour is that it is possible to buy the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra in Saudi Arabia and in fact it has been widely advertised. The advertising campaign had to take into account conservative attitudes to sex in Saudi Arabia and therefore the adverts had to be very subtle with their message.
