In one of the largest ever fake Viagra busts, over 1 million tablets of a sexual enhancement nature have been impounded by customs officers in Dubai. The haul which weighed over one and a half tons contained tablets called ‘Maximum’ and ‘Cobra’. Mr. Mohammed al Marri the boss of Dubai customs who led the investigation said that they had come across the fake drugs after routine inspections and decided to investigate further. From the information he released it appears that the drugs were sent from an Asian country and that analysis of the tablets was done by the Dubai Ministry of Health.

The clinical analysis of the tablets showed that they contained 130mg of sildenafil citrate which is 30 percent more than the maximum recommended dose of real Viagra. Mr al Merri explained that men using these tablets could have been exposed to “a potentially deadly effect”. Tablets with this much sildenafil citrate could cause heart attacks or potentially fatal low blood pressure.
Dubai Customs stepped up monitoring operations after reports that millions of pounds worth of fake erectile dysfunction medications were passing through the country. Asian countries have been exporting to Dubai and then re exporting to Europe and America in the hope that they can cover up the paper trail. Anything exported from Dubai gets a point of origin certificate saying that it came from Dubai and not from the original manufacturing country.
The three erectile dysfunction medications, Viagra, Cialis and Levitra are probably the most copied medications in the world because they are so easy to sell to gullible and desperate men. Using counterfeit medication has been described by the World Health Organization has playing ‘Russian Roulette’ with your health. At Ukmedix it is possible to check that the medication you buy online whether it is impotence medication, weight loss medication or hair loss medication can be verified as being genuine and legal using the Pharmacheck system.
Still unsure…why not give it a try?
