Another major bust of an organisation selling fake versions of erectile dysfunction tablets has been announced by customs officers in Germany. A coordinated raid in five different German cities netted almost 50,000 erectile dysfunction tablets which were being made ready for distribution around Europe.

In all 60 customs officials, 25 tax inspectors and seven government prosecutors took part in the operation to smash the criminal organisation which they reckon has been selling millions of fake tablets every year. Seven people were arrested and four of them have been remanded in custody.
The customs officials put out a statement saying that the drugs were being sold by online pharmacies which often looked like professional establishments. However it is important that individuals remember that all pharmacies ask for prescriptions for prescription medications and if you do manage to buy the drugs Viagra, Cialis or Levitra without a prescription you are buying it from a criminal organisation and not from a licenced pharmacy.
The fake online pharmacy however appeared to be extremely successful with luxury cars, cash and bank accounts full of money being impounded by the customs authorities. Bank accounts were frozen in Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, France and Turkey and it is estimated that they will be ordered to pay around to 2.5 million euros in tax.
The arrested individuals will be facing a number of criminal charges including the illegal sale of prescription medication, the illegal sale of fake medication as well as money laundering and tax evasion.
The customs operation which was codenamed “Blue” because majority of the fake medication that is sold on the internet is blue tablets of Viagra, should be a major blow to the organised criminal activities of fake European online pharmacies.
Ukmedix News has consistently warned of the dangers of buying fake versions of Viagra which can cause dangerous side effects, which have not been tested clinically and which are often made in sub standard and unhygienic conditions using bonded labour in sweat shops. Versions of fake Viagra include Kamagra and Lovegra.

When you cannot afford something you tend to go for the cheaper version, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
