A report by the famous Russian newspaper Pravda claims that whopping 90 percent of men in Russia say that they suffer from symptoms of erectile dysfunction! The news report which claims to have got its information from a team of scientists working for the chief Russian urologist is bound to raise some eyebrows in male dominated Russian society!

Another finding of the study was that despite this high figure of 90 percent many of the men said that the erectile dysfunction was not necessarily a big problem. In fact a quarter of the men said that the erectile dysfunction problem was not actually caused by them but by the women they were trying to have sex with! The study looked at men between the ages of 20 and 70 and also noted that almost 40 percent of those men between 45 and 60 had given up even trying to have sex!
Well, at Ukmedix News we have seen hundreds of these types of surveys and so we always take dramatic erectile dysfunction data with a pinch of salt! Firstly, it is completely normal for men to suffer from erectile dysfunction at some stage in their lives whether it is a psychological or a physiological problem. It should also be taken into account that men in Russia drink huge quantities of vodka and that this is likely to cause erectile dysfunction both in the immediate short term and in the long term.
Maybe the Russian government should fund health campaigns to warn men about the dangers of excessive vodka and alcohol consumption and especially highlight the fact that drinking a lot will make them worse lovers and could eventually lead them to have to rely on one of the three erectile dysfunction meds Viagra, Cialis or Levitra!
There is no doubt that a little bit of alcohol can help you to relax which is conducive to good erectile function, but if you drink too much you could end up being unable to get an erection!
