More Sex For Men Will Improve Their Health

Men should always do something about erectile dysfunction

Research done at Nottingham University has come up with the conclusion that men who have sex on a regular basis in their fifties are less probable to develop cancer of the prostrate. The research confirms other studies which show that regular sexual activity can actually be good for erectile function, your mental well being, increase longevity and reduce the chances of a heart attack.

More Sex For Men Will Improve Their Health

It appears that not only is regular sexual activity important for good sexual function in men but also for women. For example an American study saw that women who had experienced menopause but had sex on a weekly basis had levels of oestrogen which were twice as high as those women who didn't have sex. A study done in Finland which we have previously reported on at Ukmedix News shows the men who had sex more than once a week boosted their chances of having no problems with erectile function as they aged.

One of the great advantages of having regular sex is that it is a substitute for regular exercise and it sure beats the hell out of going for a run on a rainy day. Men who have sex 3 or 4 four times a week will be getting regular workouts which will improve their fitness and the health of their hearts. Having a healthy heart is directly connected to good erectile function as a study done by the Mayo Clinic in America recently confirmed.

Men who have sex on a regular basis produce more testosterone than men who don’t. A number of studies have shown that testosterone levels are higher during and just after sex and this could prevent the onset of andropause, (the male menopause) which occurs when testosterone levels drop with age.

Sex also releases a whole range of hormones and neurotransmitters which are responsible for making you feel good about yourself. This applies to both men and women. If you feel good your stress levels go down which has a positive effect on your health overall.

Men should always do something about erectile dysfunction and not just try and ignore it. It could be a symptom of something more serious and needs to be dealt with sooner rather than later.
