Men Must Never Ignore Erectile Dysfunction Say Researchers

impotence is God's way of telling people that they're not living healthy lives

If men haven't got the message by now about the link between erectile dysfunction and potential heart disease than there really is nothing that we can do, especially after yet again another study has confirmed it.

men must never ignore erectile dysfunction say researchers

This latest study done by researchers based in Edinburgh and published by the International Journal of Clinical Practice is just one of many recent research projects which highlight the need for men suffering from impotence to get proper medical checkups with an emphasis on their heart health rather than just relying on the effectiveness of the drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.

In fact Dr Graham Jackson and his team did not actually themselves carry out any clinical trials but merely examined over 100 existing studies evaluating the connection between impotence and coronary artery disease. By correlating all of the data they said the men who started to suffer from erectile dysfunction tended to develop heart problems after two to three years and we're at high risk from heart attacks after three to five years. The data even showed that the men who began to suffer from erectile dysfunction were at a greater risk of dying.

Men hate getting medical checkups especially if they are to do with erectile function and that is why many of them try and forget the problem rather than dealing with it or they go down the dangerous route of just trying to get impotence medication without a prescription. This type of medication is normally fake, potentially extremely dangerous and has even been known to exacerbate erection problems.

One of the theories why men suffer from impotence before they begin to suffer from coronary artery disease is because the arteries to the penis are thinner than those to the heart and thus when they are subjected to the effects of unhealthy living they become blocked up faster. Smoking, overeating, a lack of exercise and excessive drinking are all known to clog up arteries and thus they are all risk factors for erectile dysfunction.

Some doctors say that erectile dysfunction is God's way of telling people that they're not living healthy lives.
