two new impotence drugs which are very similar to the existing ones
At the Congress of the European and International Societies for Sexual Medicine, doctors and scientists learnt all about two new erectile dysfunction medications which are very similar to the existing ones Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.
One of these new drugs called udenafil we have written about before and the conference delegates were shown research showing its safety and effectiveness in a Phase three clinical trial. Udenafil which is made by the South Korean pharmaceutical company Dong A has been on sale for some years now in South Korea but has yet to gain regulatory approval in America or Europe. It is the same as Viagra, Cialis and Levitra in that it is a phosphodiesterase-5 or PDE-5 inhibitor.
The manufacturers of udenafil said that it is similar to sildenafil (Viagra) but that it has a greater strength, selectivity and acidic solubility which they said had led it to becoming the erectile dysfunction drug of choice for many men.
Another new erectile dysfunction medication which was also presented to the delegates was lodenafil which has just undergone phase two clinical testing. Lodenafil which was evaluated by Professor Sidney Glina is as the name suggests also a phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor. The researchers evaluated the lodenafil using the International Index of Erectile Function which has now become the standard method for testing the effectiveness of new erectile dysfunction medications. For the clinical testing a double blind placebo controlled format was used to confirm the integrity of the results.
The side effects for lodenafil seemed to be almost identical as the side effects for Viagra, Cialis and Levitra and in 98 percent of cases the adverse events were classified as mild or moderate and very few men actually left the clinical trial because of side effects problems. It is likely that over the next few years should all clinical testing go well, Viagra, Cialis and Levitra will be facing intense competition from new entrants in the market.

I've been using Udenafil (Zydena) for a about half a year. The strength of the pill I've been taking is 200mg tablets. It was satisfactory with 50mg in the beginning. However, I have been increasing the dosage as time goes by. Tha last time I took was two tablets of 200mg. It worked very effectively. However, it seems that I am losing hair. I am afraid to go bold pretty soon. I am 69 years of age.
