A huge array of products are now available in Indonesian markets

In Jakarta, the Indonesian Drug & Food Monitoring Agency has initiated a major campaign cracking down on the sale and manufacture of stimulants which are believed to enhance sexual stamina. In all 21 individual stimulants have been banned by the Agency after they were tested and found to contain compounds that could be potentially fatal.

Indonesian Health Authorities Target Fake Impotence Meds

The new campaign was started after a man had taken one of these supplements and died. It is also thought that more men have died due to the use of these impotence supplements but their families would not allow doctors to come in and do autopsies on them to confirm the cause of death. Extremely worrying is fact that many of suspected cases involved men who were in their thirties and who died from heart failure.

The head of the agency Husniah Rubiana Thamrin Akib explained that these illegal sex supplements were made by combining traditional Indonesian medicines with the active ingredients of Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. A huge array of products are now available in Indonesian markets which are potentially lethal especially as the active ingredients have not been made under controlled conditions.

A list of the products to avoid was produced by the agency and included the following products:

Tripoten

Maca Gold

Rama Stamin

Urat Perkasa Kapsul

Lavaria

Blue Moon

Manovel

Lak Gao

Sari Madu Kapsul

Cobra X Kapsul

Sanomale

Otot Madu

Serbuk Kuat Tahan Lama

Even more worrying is the fact that some licensed pharmacies were even selling the sex supplements in direct contravention of the rules and regulations governing these establishments. A number of pharmacies and manufacturers of traditional medicine are to be taken to court and charged.

In all the Indonesian Drug & Food Monitoring Agency said that they had impounded over 200,000 packets of these sexual stimulants in different provinces around Indonesia. European tourists who go on holiday often take these traditional sexual boosters for a little bit of fun thinking they are harmless but they should be warned that they could be potentially lethal and fatal.

It's good to know what to avoid, it makes the choice easier and safer. I personally prefere to use something I know is safe and works and have no desire to change from viagra.
