Zydena Undergoing Clinical Testing

Zydena works for longer than Viagra and Levitra...

We have come across a bit of new information about an erectile dysfunction drug that is at present only sold in Korea.  The drug that is made by the company called Dong-A PharmTech is at present only licensed for sale in Korea and thus is not known of in the UK and in Europe. Like the erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra it is a PDE-5 inhibitor and works by opening the penile arteries in a man. Its clinical name is udenafil and it has recently been subjected to phase 2b clinical testing in order for it to get approval from health and drug licensing authorities around the world.

The idea is that the results from these tests will allow Dong-A PharmTech to proceed with phase three clinical testing in the United States and in the European Union. Over 340 men were given udenafil and were told to report back on the effects of this new erectile dysfunction medication. Udenafil or to use its sales name Zydena, has been on sale in Korea since the finish of the year 2005. It competes with Viagra, Cialis and Levitra and is in fact selling more in Korea then Bayer sells of its drug Levitra. It does sell for considerably less than the three imported drugs and this has given it a bit of an edge on the competition.

It is not likely that you will see this impotence medication in the UK in the near future however if the clinical trials are successful possibly in a couple of years Zydena will be a serious contender and competition for the other three. Zydena works for longer than Viagra and Levitra and has been shown to work for up to twelve hours at a stretch. The longest lasting erectile dysfunction medication on the market at present is without a doubt Cialis which works for as long as 36 hours with just one tablet.
