The United States medicines licencing authority namely the FDA has put out a warning that some sexual enhancement remedies sold online could contain exactly the same active ingredients as the prescription drugs Viagra, Levitra and Cialis which means that they are both illegal and dangerous. The warning explained that these erectile dysfunction remedies could react very badly with some heart drugs especially those that contain nitrates.
The FDA was very specifc in its warning about the impotence products that must not be used and listed Zimaxx, Libidus, Neophase, Nasutra, Vigor-25, Actra-Rx, and 4EVERON as particularily dangerous and illegal. The FDA said that these illegal medicines were a threat to public health mainly because they consisted of undeclared chemical additives that were the same as or nearly the same as many of the active compounds found in the FDA approved erectile dysfunction drugs.
Many people don't realise that they are buying medicines with chemicals such as sildenafil (found in Viagra) that is meant only to be issue with a prescription and thus they place themselves at high risk of the side effects of the medicine. Often the remedies are marketed as natural erectile dysfunction cures are thus people are duped into a false sense of security.
For example Zimaxx has the active ingredient sildenafil in it which is patented by Pfizer and this can react very dangerously with nitrates causing a fatal low blood pressure. Men with diabetes, elevated blood pressure, high cholesterol levels or heart problems often use nitrates and they would be in serious danger if they took Zimaxx or any of the other remedies being sold illegally online.
Ukmedix advises that great care must be taken when buying online and that EMEA and FDA approved drugs, a prescription and a consultation must always be part of the sale.
