The world's largest drug manufacturer Pfizer has released the findings of its research project into the sex-lives of men and women all over the world. Pfizer is best known as the manufacturer of the best selling erectile dysfunction medication Viagra.
The research looked at the sex lives of 13,000 men and women in 27 nations and showed that the average amount of times that people have sex worldwide is between 6 and seven times each month. The survey also asked about sexual satisfaction and half of those relplied saying that were very happy with their sex-lives.
Other facts that came to light were that the French win in the frequency of sex stakes and that the Mexicans claim to be the happiest lovers of all. Men and women from Southeast Asia were the biggest complainers and the least active lovers too, whereas people from Indonesia were close to the average worldwide figure of frequency but far from the happiest with only 27% reporting satisfaction with sex lives. The research further revealed that people from Thailand had a 32% satisfaction rate and people from Singapore had a 38% satisfaction rate.
The poor showing of men and women from Southeast Asia was possibly due to the rapid change in lifestyles and modern prosperity which was a major cause of stress in this part of the world. Stress and anxiety are known to be 2 big factors in the incidence of erectile dysfunction.
Pfizer is credited with changing the lives of million of men and women with its erectile dysfunction drug Viagra and being aware of attitudes to sex in different areas of the world is considered to be extremely important to the company in the way that it markets the impotence remedy.
