Analogue ED Medications Are Dangerous

Researchers in Hong Kong have been looking at so called herbal remedies for impotence which are often sold over the counter in this famous Chinese city, and their findings were startling to say the least as the majority of them were found to contain clinically untested variants of branded erectile dysfunction medication.

At Ukmedix News we have come across this type of medication before. What the criminals who make these variant drugs are doing is slightly changing them but not enough to completely limit their effectiveness. These drugs are known as analogues and are slightly modified in their compound structure so that they will not be liable for copyright infringement from the big drug companies Pfizer, Eli Lilly & Bayer who make the three erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. So instead of these fake erectile dysfunction medications containing for example sildenafil which is the main ingredient of Viagra they contain things like homosildenafil or sulfosildenafil.
Manufacturing these types of erectile dysfunction remedies is dangerous for two reasons. Firstly anyone who uses them has no idea that they contain a controlled and potentially dangerous chemical which can interact with other medications, as they are told that they are completely natural and herbal. Secondly these analogue compounds that are created on a whim in some illegal manufacturing facility have not been tested for a proper period like the original and legal erectile dysfunction medications sildenafil, tadalafil and vardenafil.
The researchers in Hong Kong said that they looked at 26 different erectile dysfunction remedies which were sold in pharmacies and supermarkets all of which claimed to be herbal. The results showed that the analogue compound of Viagra or the other erectile dysfunction drugs were present in fourteen of them and the real Viagra was only present in one of them.
Basically if you use any of these erectile dysfunction remedies that have not been clinically tested you are playing a bout of Russian roulette with your health, so our advice at Ukmedix News is to stay well clear of them.
