Another warning received by the Ukmedix newsroom from Hong Kong concerns the use of a medicine called Deguozhanjiang. It is purported to be a medicine to boost sexual function but it has not been officially tested or licenced by any worldwide health authorities. When test were done on the product it was found that it contained not only the active ingredient of Viagra (sildenafil) but also the active ingredient of Cialis (taladafil).
The use of sildenafil and taladafil has not been researched properly and it is possible that use of the 2 drugs concurrently could be harmful to health. In fact the reason why the drug has come to the attention of the authorities is that a man was admitted into hospital with an erection that had lasted for more than 4 hours causing him pain and possible long-term penile damage.
The labeling of the product makes no mention that it contains Cialis or Viagra ingredients and thus this medicine could prove to be fatal to people who use it when taking other medicines like nitrates or for men with blood pressure problems or heart disease.
The problem of untested and illegal erectile dysfunction medication being sold around the world is growing. Many illegal factories have started up in China supplying vast amounts of improperly made Viagra or Cialis to local and western customers over the internet using spam emails as a marketing tool.
Some people ask us if it is true that these drugs are so bad and ineffective as well as dangerous and the truth is that there are no statistics on the problem. Men who have been duped, been given harmful medicine or never receive anything at all except a big credit card bill very rarely come out in the open and admit not only an impotence problem to their bank but also that they have been duped and are pretty gullible too. These facts as well as the long distances involved protect the Chinese manufacturers from legal action and sanction.
