It is commonly known that smoking can cause erectile dysfunction and cigarette packet warnings remind us of this fact. If smoking is going to be forbidden in all public places in the United Kingdom as of the 1st July it is likely that the number of people suffering from impotence in the United Kingdom will fall.
At Ukmedix News we have seen numerous surveys about the connection between smoking and erectile dysfunction in men and to give you just one statistic, men who smoke between the ages of 30 and 40 are twice as likely to suffer from impotence as men who do not smoke at all. Obviously the more you smoke and the longer you smoke for the more likely you are to have issues in the erection department.

Studies have also shown that men who give up smoking improve their erectile function in a matter of weeks and doctors in the United Kingdom would be well advised to inform men who are considering giving up smoking of this fact, as it could help them to keep off the cigarettes when they are really sorely tempted to have one.
Doctors have noted that if you tell a man that smoking could make him lose his erectile function he is more likely to try to stop smoking than if you tell him that smoking could make him ill. Because many men place such an emphasis and importance on good erectile function doctors even mention it when trying to help their male patients lose weight too.
At Ukmedix News we have been thinking that if hundreds and hundreds of men quit smoking in the United Kingdom surely we are likely to become a nation of better lovers and will have to rely less on the erectile dysfunction medications Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.
