An erectile dysfunction remedy which is codenamed VR004 has completed its phase two clinical studies and has come out with flying colours according to its maker the Vectura Group. The Vectura Group which is based in the United Kingdom developed the product VR004 as a medication that would be inhaled by men with erectile dysfunction.

The phase two trial of VR004 involved 600 men and was a double blind placebo controlled clinical test in accordance with the established guidelines from the EMEA that regulates the sale and promotion of prescription medications throughout Europe. Vectura in a press release said that the new medication had been very well tolerated and was seen to act quickly on men who took it.
Before you go rushing out to try and get some of this new erectile dysfunction remedy remember that much more testing is needed before it can come onto the market. If it does pass all the relevant tests it will be the first and only medication on the market that can be taken in an inhaled form which means that it will work far more quickly than Viagra, Cialis or Levitra as it will go straight into the bloodstream.
At the moment there area number of different research and development programs on new erectile dysfunction drugs that are designed to compete with the established ones Viagra, Cialis and Levitra but at Ukmedix News we cannot tell you yet which ones to look out for until all the relevant testing has been done by the medical authorities.
If VR004 is shown to be successful then it will be a big blockbuster and will be especially useful to men who are suddenly in a situation where a sexual opportunity arises and they want to get an erection almost immediately. Other erectile dysfunction drugs can take up to 30 minutes to be functional and thus sometimes the passion of the moment is lost.
The market for erectile dysfunction medication is worth many billions of pounds worldwide.
