South African Tree For Erectile Dysfunction.

Written by Stuart Stevens | Monday, 10 July 2006

Ukmedix has been studying reports that show that a rare and indigenous tree that can be used by traditional healers in South Africa to treat erectile dysfunction has been properly evaluated and checked in a lab in the University of Pretoria. The tree comes from the Venda area of Limpopo and it is known that men with erectile dysfunction can eat the bark of the tree and this will cure impotence.

The scientist that studied the bark of the tree said that active ingredient of the tree works in the same way that erectile dysfunction drugs do and produce good results but warned that anyone who wished to try it should seek the advice of the local healers before trying it so that the right dose would be given. In fact it was noted that the tree bark could be the cause of an overdose and therefore you could even become sick and die should you take too much.

The scientists say that they tested the tree bark against Viagra and they said that the results were similar and that the bark may be utilised as a future pharmaceutical cure for erectile dysfunction. Great care has to be taken when using traditional remedies for erectile dysfunction as often the placebo effect is very strong and has been reported to be as much as 40% in some cases. Traditional remedies for erectile dysfunction are found in all cultures of the world but are fast being replaced with Viagra, Cialis and Levitra, the new generation of impotence treatments.
