Tiger Parts For Impotence

Written by Stuart Stevens | Wednesday, 20 December 2006 | There are 0 comments

The problem of Tiger’s being captured and killed for their body parts seems to be surfacing again in China. Many people thought that with the arrival of erectile dysfunction drugs like Viagra the demand for the Tigers would diminish and the numbers found in the wild would rise again. Despite the fact that there is no scientific evidence whatsoever that eating tiger especially the penis and testicles has any effect on erectile function the demand for it is still evident in very expensive and upmarket Chinese restaurants in China and the Asian region.

Animal rights activists are furious that the Chinese government is making moves to legalise the export of tiger parts and is protesting vigorously but they are up against what could potentially be a multi million pound industry and there in China at the moment nothing gets in the way of money. The demand for Viagra, Cialis and Levitra is still rising in China but some old traditions refuse to die and men still say that eating “tiger prick” soup will boost their virility and make there sexual function better. Strangely enough it is much cheaper to buy Viagra as a whole tiger fetches up to 25,000 pounds sterling on the black market and when it is cut up and the individual pieces are sold off the hunters can make themselves a very tidy profit with even the bones being ground up and sold.

The Chinese say that they have no intention of deleting stocks in the wild and that their new tiger industry would be fuelled purely by tigers bred and raised in captivity and they argue that this will bring down the prices fore the wild tigers and thus make them less attractive to poachers. Some sources say that there are almost as many tigers being bred in captivity as there are in the wild and that there may soon be many more if the plans for the tiger industry are made legal.

Experts say that the real reason why tiger parts work for impotence is that they have a very strong placebo effect and that a man who believes that he has eaten a tiger and that also believes that it will improve his erectile function can often be cured from a psychological form of impotence that effects as many as 20% or 30% of men who have the problem. If your impotence is of a physical nature eating tiger parts will have no effect whatsoever and men must also be aware that the industry of tiger parts is presently illegal and thus run by criminals who may not in fact be selling you a medicine that came from anything like a tiger.
