Sometimes Impotence Drugs Are Not Enough

Research undertaken at Temple University by senior urologists shows that a list of combination therapies for treating erectile dysfunction may be the way forward for men with persistent impotence and who have tried the medications Viagra, Cialis and Levitra without satisfactory results. The research shows that men who used erectile dysfunction pills along with penis or vacuum pumps or injections and urethral suppositories could get very good results when the drugs alone were not effective.
While erectile dysfunction drugs have been shown to be effective in around 80% of cases there is always the other 20% of men who need more help than just popping a pill. Some men have severe physical impotence that has been created by an accident or very bad health that needs a something like a vacuum device to help them and other men have been found to have very severe pyschological impotence which needs other types of treatments too. Having a sexual partner who is supportive and patient and keeps you motivated can be of a great help to people with this type of erectile dysfunction problem.
Men who have been heavy smokers for a long period or who are seriously obese or suffer from heart disease or stress may be among those who require more than just a Viagra, Cialis or Levitra pill. Other things that cause severe impotence are pelvis injuries, cancer treatments and heavy surgery as well as some other medications used for mental illness and hypertension.
Ukmedix doctors usually advise the use of erectile dysfunction drugs before any other drastic intervention and other therapies for impotence are required.
