The reason why we think Rudy Giuliani deserves a pat on the back at Ukmedix News is because he had the courage to speak about his own erectile dysfunction and make it public news. The fact that such a high profile figure was prepared to come out and admit that he had impotency problems would have been a boost to other men who were also suffering from erectile dysfunction.

Rudy Giuliani became impotent after he had had treatment for cancer of the prostrate. Almost all men get erectile difficulties after having suffered from prostrate cancer and this can be extremely demoralizing and depressing for them. Giuliani made it known that what he had was purely a medical condition and that he was not embarrassed or ashamed about the fact that he was not able to get erect. We are keen to remove the stigma and taboos that people associate with impotence and the more people talk about the problem and the more that famous people talk frankly about their erectile problems the more that the stigmas will be removed.

Another man who has also been very frank and honest about his erectile dysfunction is the one time presidential candidate Bob Dole, who became a great advert for the effectiveness of the erectile dysfunction medication Viagra. He admitted that he had suffered from impotence and that through the use of Viagra he was cured.

Ask yourself this, if you suffered from erectile dysfunction and you were a public figure would you want the whole world to hear about it? The chances are you wouldn’t and therefore both Rudy Giuliani and Bob Dole have much to be commended for.
