This was very distressing for him but even more distressing for his girlfriend

Ukmedix News recently came across a case of a man who despite being in perfect health was unable to sustain an erection when he had sex with his girlfriend. He said that he had no problem in getting erections from manual stimulation and from oral sex but when it came to actually penetrative sex he was unable to keep his erection.

Unusual Case Of ED

This was extremely distressing for him but even more distressing for his girlfriend who believed that he obviously did not find her sexually attractive or that he had some sort of problem with the relationship. At Ukmedix News we have seen many of these cases and due to the hundreds of research projects that we have studied we know that this man is suffering from some sort of psychological erectile dysfunction which will probably be cured with counselling or relaxation techniques.

Interestingly under further examination it appeared that this man had suffered from the same problem with his previous girlfriend also and this was actually a relief for his present girlfriend who understood therefore that the problem was not anything to do with her.

This man has probably had some sort of problem in the past with penetrative sex that has left him with a psychological imprint somewhere deep in the recesses of his brain that prevents him from sustaining an erection when he is penetrating his girlfriend. It may be that he is terrified of getting his girlfriend pregnant, (maybe had an unpleasant pregnancy scare in the past). It may also be that he is unable to sustain his erection with penetrative sex because he is always stressed and nervous when he attempts it again.  It is important that a man is relaxed and calm in order to be able to maintain a good erection.

At Ukmedix News we would advise relaxation techniques such as a massage and a hot bath and a gentle approach to penetrative sex so that there is absolutely no stress associated with it. It is likely that if the man is able to have one good episode of penetrative sex he will become more confident and get over his problem for good.

If the problem still persists it is a good idea to go to a sexual counsellor who may be able to get to the root of the problem.
