Men who are brave enough to admit it tend to say that they have suffered from erectile dysfunction at least once in their life. A lot of sexually active younger men in their twenties will have experienced an episode in which they were not able to get an erection, something which probably caused them to a great deal of embarrassment and humiliation at the time.

If you are young and healthy and you do experience erectile dysfunction the chances are that you don’t really have much to worry about and that you are simply suffering from a mild form of psychological impotence. If you are in a sexual situation which puts a lot of heat on you, (for example you may be with a very sexually confident woman) you may tense up and your brain may just refuse to send the signals for you to get an erection.
If this happens the chances are that you don’t need to take an erectile dysfunction medication like Viagra, Cialis or Levitra but you just require to learn how to relax and you might even call into question whether you actually should be having a sexual relationship with the woman who caused you the erectile dysfunction in the first place. Some men may be in a situation where they are feeling very guilty about having sex with a particular woman; maybe they are married or cheating on someone and thus they are unable to get an erection when the time comes. Other things may be worrying them such as the possibility of sexually transmitted diseases or pregnancy and so likewise they cannot perform properly.
Older men are those who are more likely to require the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra, Cialis or Levitra as they tend to suffer from blood flow problems to the penile artery which is by far the largest cause of erectile dysfunction in the world. Over 90% of all erectile dysfunction cases are due to this simple arterial problem.
