Watch Your Waist....

You are putting yourself in danger of impotence especially in later life...

Researchers in America have proven a very clear link between the chances of a man suffering from erectile dysfunction and the size of his waist. The researchers that hail from both Illinois and New York suggested that doctors should place more emphasis on the waist measurements of men to determine whether they could end up experiencing a number of serious illnesses.  Doctors say that men who have bigger waist measurements are likely to suffer from lower urinary tract symptoms and prostrate volume as well as erectile dysfunction.

Watch Your Waist....

Almost ninety men were included in this study and were put into three different groups that were defined by the waist circumferences of the men. The first group had a waist circumference of between 30 and 36in., the second group had a waist circumference of between 36 and 40in. and the third group were those who had waste circumferences of more than 40in.

Some men think that because they are only slightly overweight they are not at risk of suffering from erectile dysfunction but this research shows that it is not just your weight that is a problem but also the circumference of your waist.  Basically if you have a large stomach the chances are that you are putting yourself in danger of impotence especially in later life.

At Ukmedix News we like to promote the concept that by staying healthy and keeping fit you are investing in your future sex lives.  If you look after your health now the chances are that when you are an old man you will still be able to maintain sufficient erections to be able to have sex. We have also noted that the best way to encourage a man to lose weight is to tell him that his sexual function will suffer if he doesn’t. Telling a man to lose weight so that he won’t get high blood pressure or cancer is less effective.
