The Ministry of Health said that the reason they were doing this was not only to make sure that the right men got the right drugs but also to help get rid of fake and sometimes dangerous erectile dysfunction medication that were flooding the market.

Countries like Vietnam also have problems in that there are so many different types of erectile dysfunction drugs licensed by the government. These countries pay little regard to international patent agreements and thus they allow copies of Viagra, Cialis and Levitra to flood the market. These copies are supposed to be licensed but as there are so many of them many of the copies are quite simply not made according to established pharmaceutical standards and thus can be dangerous for you.

In Vietnam for example there are over 30 different licensed erectile dysfunction medications allowed to be sold on the market all of which are copies of Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.  There are probably even more copies of these drugs which are made illegally and which could be dangerous.
