Ukmedix is becoming increasingly aware of the big battle that is being fought out by the manufacturers of the 3 erectile dysfunction drug manufacturers for market share of the multi billion pound impotence industry. The three big pharmacuetical companies namely Pfizer, Lily Icos and Bayer who produce Viagra, Cialis and Levitra respectively are coming up with incentives and rewards for patients that use their products. For example they use coupons, free trials and other financial incentives for men to try their products in the United States and in other parts of the world.
All three erectile dysfunction drug manufacturers are not allowed to sell their products direct to consumers unless they have a prescription from a doctor and these offers therefore are only valid with the prescription. The manufacturers say that sometimes people need a little encouragement to try drugs that will be good for them and say that they are breaking no rules and regulations concerning the promotion of prescription medicines. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration as well as consumer groups however are not so convinced about the way that the drugs are being promoted and feel that the fact that they are being pushed so much may make people believe that they are safe for everyone and that they will definitely work for everyone.
Viagra's latest campaign allows regular users of the famous erectile dysfunction pill to get a 'value card' that allows you to get the 6th packet of Viagra free after buying 5. The makers of rival drug Cialis are being even more aggressive saying that the first time you use the medicine you don't need to pay for it and will even let you have a second sample free if you like it. They are so confident that they say they will pay for a rival drug if you dont like the Cialis. The third big erectile dysfunction drug manufacturer namely Bayer says that they will give you three pills of their impotence drug Levitra free for first time users.
Viagra still has the biggest share of the erectile dysfunction drug market and is followed by Cialis and Levitra. The market is worth billions and the drug companies are prepared to steer very close to the wind with regards to the rules of promoting drugs and medicines when faced with such huge financial rewards.
