Impotence Can Mean Divorce... Literally

In India Sunni Muslims, who are the largest sect of Muslims in India have a special advisory council to make the rules that govern them. The All India Muslim Personal Law Board is very strict and allows divorce only on 2 grounds and they are cruelty and believe it or not impotence! This means that as a Sunni Muslim man it is important to maintain your erectile function as it could cost you your marriage and not only that you could be getting yourself into some very embarrassing legal proceedings if you can’t perform for your wife.

Not all sects of Muslims have this impotence rule but the majority of the Indian ones do. This may explain the importance that Indian men place on sex and healthy sexual function and why the sales of Viagra and especially illegal Viagra have done so well in India.

Under the Constitution of India the religious groups are allowed to make laws for personal things like marriage, divorce and child custody and that is why this Muslim board can make the rules regarding impotence and marriage that must cause great distress to some men.
Viagra must have been seen as a godsend for many Indian men as it would have saved their marriages legally and also in the sense that they could have healthy sexual relations with their wives. The same can be said about men from all over the world whose marriages and relationships suffered as a result of their erectile dysfunction.

Erectile dysfunction causes great strain in a relationship and often the woman things that it is her fault that the man is not performing and this makes matters worse. The great thing about Viagra apart from its ability to produce erections in men is that it has enhanced discussion about the causes of impotence and now most people understand better what it is all about.
