Herbal Impotence Remedies

These days people don’t need to resort to herbal erectile dysfunction remedies because the trio of Viagra, Cialis and Levitra are all known to be far more effective. However some men would be interested to know if herbal remedies work especially men for example who have to use nitrates for a heart condition and therefore are unable to use the PDE-5 inhibitor impotence drugs.

The actual factual evidence on the effects of herbal remedies is very limited and most of the effects of these medications could be put down to a placebo effect. For example some men say that ginseng works for them but probably hundreds of others have not had good results with it and therefore just say nothing and try something else. Ginseng has not been tested in a carefully controlled clinical trial and thus the scientific effectiveness of the herb has yet to be proven.

Another herbal impotence remedy is yohimbe and this has been thought to produce better results than ginseng for men with erectile dysfunction however it is not risk free as it is harmful if you take too much of it as it can cause elevated blood pressure and in rare cases even heart failure.

You must be especially wary of herbal and traditional erectile dysfunction remedies that do not give a clear list of their ingredients and what they consist of. We receive countless reports at the Ukmedix newsroom of so called traditional erectile dysfunction remedies that are in fact not traditional or herbal at all and contain western drugs like sildenafil, taladafil or vardenafil, which are the respective active ingredients of Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.

Most of these illegal remedies come from Asia and are doubly dangerous because the men who use them are unaware of the potential side effects of using these controlled drugs. At Ukmedix we would recommend that you get a doctors advice before using any traditional or herbal impotence remedies.
