A few months back we reported at Ukmedix News that in Germany three teenagers had been arrested and charged in court with setting off fireworks near an ostrich farm that had caused the impotence of a particular ostrich called Gustav. This week the case came up in court and it looks like the teenagers will not be held responsible for the erectile dysfunction of Gustav the ostrich.

The court appointed expert that looked into the claims of the ostrich owner said that while fireworks could cause an ostrich to be stressed that was no direct link showing that fireworks could cause erectile dysfunction in ostriches. Gustav’s owner was claiming that the erectile dysfunction of his ostrich had cost him about three and a half thousand pounds in lost earnings as he could not sell Gustav’s offspring. He claimed that before the fireworks had been set off near his farm Gustav had been a lively and sexually active ostrich. The teenagers were not held liable for Gustav’s impotence but nevertheless were ordered to pay about £100 in veterinary costs incurred after the incident.
Extreme stress and anxiety can cause erectile dysfunction even in humans however the court expert brought in to discuss Gustav’s case said that he felt the fireworks had not been responsible for the erectile dysfunction of the bird. At Ukmedix News we have seen hundreds of reports that show that men who are under great stress and anxiety can have problems sustaining erections. This sort of anxiety is the type that is due to overwork and pressing deadlines but not something that is caused by a one off shock like a firework.
When a man gets an erection the process involves the relaxation of certain muscles in the penile region and so the more relaxed you are the more likely you are to perform well in bed.
