The people of France are well known for the emphasis that they put on good sex and sexual relationships but nevertheless they also suffer from their fair share of sexual problems too. Research that we have seen at Ukmedix News shows that 75 percent of all women in France think that sex is an extremely important part of the stability and strength of the relationship with their husband or boyfriend. At the same time nearly twenty percent of all French women say that their husband or boyfriend has had erectile dysfunction on at least one occasion over the last year and it is probable that this percentage does not represent the true extent of the problem.

The study that was done by Dr Marie-Hélène Colson who is the Director of Sexology Education from the Marseilles and Montpellier Faculty of Medicine looked at women in different countries as well as France. In all over 14,000 females in fourteen countries were asked detailed questions about their sex lives. All the women were aged eighteen and over. One of the conclusions of this extensive survey is that females below the age of 35 are much happier to talk about sexual problems and take a proactive approach to erectile dysfunction in their men.
Women who are over the age of 50 were noted to be far more reluctant to discuss erectile dysfunction with their sexual partners and were also seen to be much less knowledgeable about erectile dysfunction cures and remedies with some of them saying they have not ever heard of medicine to cure sexual dysfunction in men. The group of women between the years of 35 and 50 tended to be more open about dealing with sexual problems when they were closer to the age of 35 then to the age of 50.
Lack of information about sexual problems and treatment for sexual problems can cause immense strain on a relationship and one of the best remedies for erectile dysfunction is clear and concise communication so that the reason for the problem can be firmly established.
