Not many people know that by the simple act of doing exercise you can greatly improve your erectile function. If you are beginning to suffer from mild erectile dysfunction before you run out to the doctor to try and get a prescription for Viagra, Cialis or Levitra you should possibly consider looking at your lifestyle and see whether you are getting enough exercise.

Exercise For Good Sex

It has been known for years that exercising improves blood flow to all parts of the body and in order to have good erectile function you need good blood flow to the penile artery. A lot of men notice that after they have exercised their erectile function is far better than it was before the exercise and this is no coincidence. The reason is that because their heart has been pumping blood around their body their arteries are wide open and therefore blood can flow into the penile artery far more easily.

Some researchers even say that as well as doing regular exercise such as running or brisk walking you should also exercise your pelvic muscles to further improve your erectile function. For example they say you should tighten and release the muscles on your pelvic floor twice a day 100 times as this could strengthen your pelvic and genital muscles enabling you to produce harder erections.

Doing exercise and keeping fit and healthy is an investment in your future erectile function. It is natural that your erectile function will diminish with age but it will diminish far more quickly if you are unhealthy and if therefore you want to keep on having sex into your golden years you must start to think about your erectile function health now rather than wait until it is too late.
